Who thinks that Congress and Bush will reach some sort of compromise?

I do, as I think it would be politically disastrous for either party to cut off funding for the troops. The truth is, if that happens, Democrats would blame Bush for vetoing the bill and Republicans would blame Congress for not sending through a clean bill to fund the war. The other option is that this fight could drag out for months, as Congress said that they could p funding for the troops on a month-by month basis while they are fighting with Bush about setting a timeline.
