Factory fitted head unit in Citroen C2?

i've pulled out the head unit in my 56 plate c2 vts and it's a siemens vdo (RD4 N1-oo) model , does anyone know if the vdo dayton ipod connector IP 2205 is compatable as the multi plug for the cd changer looks the same - there seems to be 2 on the back of the head unit... looking at dayton as there a subsidury of siemens. thanks
