Yes, it's a good thesis. I'm not entirely sure what the rhetoric part has to do with anything, though. In your intro before your thesis, I'd introduce the book/comic you're talking about, the author, and the principle characters/BRIEF plot summary (ie it's about a superhero...that's how brief the summary should be haha)
