Trigonometry Triangle Measurement?

Could someone give me a formula please? I have a right triangle and I want to know the length from the 90 degree angle corner to the hypotenuse. To clarify, this would be a straight line splitting the 90 degree corner into two 45 degree angles and creating two 90 degree angles connecting to the hypotenuse.
