I have a Applause with the same slippery back as the new what could I use on the lap side to help non slip?

It's a 76' Applause made in Moo sup, Connecticut. I believe the back of the guitar is made up of Composite or some other type of hard plastic. I just want to see if anyone has a suggestion to what would help make the lap and back sides of the Guitar less prone to slipping and sliding off your body while performing.
