A boy i like..mixed messages? ?

I'm interested in this boy about 3 years older than me. Lets call him fred. Ive been interested in fred for about a month or so but im not too sure whether he's interested in me or not. Last night i had a new years party and ended up getting slightly tipsy and falling asleep on him. When i woke up he was sort of hugging me with a blanket round the both of us and he just told me to go back to sleep. When he left later on he kissed me on the forehead and said i was a funny girl, then left. He sent me a text once he had left telling me that his neck would never be the same after staying in the same position so he wouldnt wake me :P. Our personalitys are complete opposites as im quite light hearted and jokey whereas he's serious and can be kind of grumpy at times. We have had arguments in the past where are personalitys have clashed quite severly. Im not sure whether he likes me or not but my close friend who is also friends with fred said he thinks we'd be sweet together. Any clues?
