Can I get credit? - tips on loopholes?

You are unlikely to get credit based on your current debt history and your unemployed status. Credit card companies have been lowering the percentage for the minimum payment in recent years. By paying a lower minimum amount on your credit card it will mean you're paying off your debt in a longer time period hence the credit card company earning more interest from your debts. By taking longer to pay off your debt the more the interest will aculate on your balance. You need to stop using your cards immediately and pay down the debt that you have. If you reach the point where you cannot make the minimum payment, your interest rate will skyrocket. I would warn you to stay away from debt consolidation and debt settlement as these can be a nightmare for anyone for anyone.
